Ingredients: 1/4 C. (4 Tbs.) Organic Extra-virgin Olive Oil 1/8C. (2Tbs.) freshly squeezed lemon juice 1 tsp. Fleur de Sel or Flor de Sal (Gourmet sea salt) 1/2 tsp. italian basil (dry) 1/2 tsp. greek oregano ( leaves only) 1 clove of fresh organic garlic (crushed in a garlic press) freshly ground black pepper to taste *Healthy Variation: substitute Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil for some or all of the olive oil. |
Preparation : No need to use a blender, use a wire whisk or fork and a small ceramic bowl. 1.Whisk together olive oil and lemon juice. 2.Add rest of ingredients: sea salt, herbs, garlic, black pepper. 3.Whisk together until well blended. 4. Pour over fresh lettuce salad and toss lightly. 5. Allow to sit 10 min. Enjoy! Makes enough dressing for a 3-4 person salad. |
